Marcus Jones
National President 2015

Hi Guys, Welcome to the home of Round Table.

Round Table has truly come home and it has been a long time coming for the lads. I am absolutely delighted that we are here, the work and commitment by the team to deliver what will be an exceptional weekend has just been simply fantastic.

We have a national event that is world class and the world of International Round Table will be watching on social media, something that I am extremely proud of.

Round Table means different things to different people, for some it is community for others charity but for most it will be the fun and fellowship of life, this weekends events will prove that. There is no doubt there is an incredible buzz around the association at the moment and that gents is simply because of you the members.

Darren Barker
Area 6 Founders Area Chairman

What a great year to be Area 6 The Founders Area Chairman when we are hosting NSW2015 here in Norwich.

The NSW Committee have worked very hard over the last 18 months to bring together a great event for you all to enjoy which i am sure it will be as spectacular as previous years!

Have a great weekend. Bring on the games and lets be ‘avin ya!!

Spencer Burrell
NSW2015 Chairman 2015

The idea for us to host NSW at the birthplace of Table started way back at the NSW in Leeds. It was a late night phone call between Andrew Kerry (who was at Leeds) and myself (about to go to bed). It has taken its time but what do you expect, we are Norfolk boys!

There are a load of people who have touched this event at some stage. I cannot list them all but I would like to thank all of you for you thoughts, assistance and perseverance.

So drink plenty, play fair and I hope you enjoy what my team have organised for you.

Ed Watton
National Events Officer 2015

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all to Norwich the home of Round Table and this year’s National Sporting Weekend, the premier Round Table event.

As well as great accommodation, sports facilities and usual array of bars for you guys to enjoy over the weekend this year we have something truly special in the Friday night boxing event.

None of this would have been possible without the hard work of the team and I can truly say this year’s team really have put blood, sweat and tears in to organising the event. Don’t forget to support Darren and Spencer on Friday Night when there is a good chance you may see more of their blood sweat and tears in the boxing ring. Please add to their just giving pages.

If you think you have what it takes to run an NSW then please come and talk to me over the weekend or email: events@roundtable.org.uk and I will be only too pleased to discuss your thoughts and the benefits it will bring you and your area/team.

Health & Safety

Your Organising Committee has been working hard to ensure your attendance and participation in NSW Norwich 2015 is SAFE. Please help us and your fellow Tablers to observe the following.

Take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with emergency procedures in your room, campus venues and off site venues. Remember where your escape routes and assembly points are located.

Safety is everybody's responsibility. If you see something that concerns you, tell a member of the Committee (wearing yellow and green jackets).

In the event of an emergency follow the emergency procedures and observe instructions by those in authority.

Fire fighting and other safety equipment are there for a purpose. You will be charged for any damaged property/equipment used inappropriately.

If you are participating in the sporting activities, please ensure you consider yourself physically fit enough to partake. Try to undertake some warm up exercises before commencing an activity.

Ensure you take on sufficient and appropriate fluids and if at any time you begin to feel ill, stop and tell someone.

If you require medical assistance please contact one of the Organising Committee or a member of the university staff. In the event of an emergency call 999. Medical assistance will be on site during the sporting activities on Saturday.

Have a fun and safe Tablers' Games. Finally (try) to drink responsibly.
